Mongar Dzongkhag joined the nation in celebrating the joyous occasion of the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo with profound love, devotion, and gratitude. The day began with offering thousand butter lamps and Zhabtoen at the Dratshang Kuenrey.

Thousands gathered at the Public ground, including the Local Government members, regional offices, civil servants, teachers, students, business community and the general public who all came together to mark this momentous day.
The celebration featured vibrant cultural performances by Dzongkhag dancers, teachers’ and students, civil servants, and the business community, along with sacred zhana Ngacham performed by Mongar Rabdey that added grandeur and spiritual significance to the event.
A Guard of Honour was presented by the Royal Bhutan Police and De-Suups, paying heartfelt tribute to His Majesty’s unparalleled service and leadership.

The day was filled with joy, unity, and national pride, a true reflection of the deep reverence the public of Mongar and everyone who took part, hold for His Majesty.
The celebration concluded with Tashi Lebay, symbolizing togetherness and collective gratitude.
