
Dasho Lungten Jamtsho
Dasho Lungten Jamtsho, from Pemagatshel Dzongkhang joined government service in January 2001 as the assistant engineer with the Department of Roads, Ministry if Communication. Dasho served in various positions in the Department of Roads, Ministry of Works & Human Settlement, and prior to his appointment as Mongar Dzongdag in October 2022, he served as the Executive Secretary of Phuentsholing Thromde.

Dasho Ugyen Sonam
Dasho Ugyen Sonam, from Khaling, Trashigang Dzongkhag joined government service in 1991. Dasho served as Militia Officer at Haa for 9 years and Regional Director for Regional Trade and Industry Office, Gelephu. Prior to his appointment as Mongar Dzongdag in July 2015, he served as the Zimpoen Wom with the HM Secretariat. He served in Dzongkhag from 2015 to 2022.

Dasho Sherab Tenzin
Dasho Sherab Tenzin ,from Thimphu, joined Mongar Dzongkhag in 2009 till 2015. He served with the Ministry of Economic Affairs prior to his appointment as Monggar Dzongdag. He was later appointed as Director General of Labour under the Ministry of Labour and Human Resources.

Dasho Lhap Dorji
Dasho Lhap Dorji, from Haa served in Monggar Dzongkhag from 2006 to 2009. Prior to his appointment to dzongkhag, he served as Trongsa Dzongdag. He was then transferred as Thimphu Dzongdag. Later he was appointed as the President of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital.

Dasho Minjur Dorji
Dasho Minjur Dorji, from Samkhar, Trashigang joined as Senior Auditor in Royal Audit Authority. Dasho served in various post in Royal Audit Authority, and prior to his appointment as Monggar Dzongdag in 2003, he served as Assistant Auditor General in Royal Audit Authority. He served in Monggar Dzongkhag from 2003 to 2006. Dasho was also the first Home Minister under the new parliamentary system of governance in 2008 of the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa.

Dasho Lham Dorji
Dasho Lham Dorji, from Bumthang served in Monggar Dzongkhag from 2002 to 2003. Prior to Dasho’s appointment in Dzongkhag, he served as Dzongdag in Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag. He was the transferred to Thimphu as Director for Road Safety and Transport Division.

Dasho Jigme Tshultrim
Dasho Jigme Tshultrim, from Radhi, Trashigang served in various positions and prior to his appointment as Mongar Dzongdag, he was placed at the Samtse dzongkhag. Dasho served in Monggar dzongkhag from 1998 to 2002. He was then appointed as Ambassador to Dhakha. Under the new parliamentary system of governance in 2008, Dasho Jigme Tshultrim of the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa party served as Speaker of the first elected Parliament.

Dasho Karma Dorji
Dasho Karma Dorji served as Monggar Dzongdag for six months where he was also looking after Thimohu Dzongkhag. He served from 1997 – 1998.

Dasho Lhakpa Dorji
Dasho Lhakpa Dorji, from Tang, Bumthang. He was transferred from Samtse Dzongkhag. He served under this Dzongkhag from 1992 to 1997.

Dasho Rinchen Tshering
Dasho Rinchen Tshering from Rukubji, Wangduephidrang received Red scarf from His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuk in 1979. Prior to his appointment as Monggar Dzongdag, he served as Paro Dzongdag and then Samtse Dzongdag. He served as Monggar Dzongdag from 1989 to 1992. Dasho was then transferred to Ministry of Home and Culture Affairs.

Dasho Gasey Lhendup
Dasho Gasey Lhendup from Haa served as Monggar Dzongdag from 1988 to 1989.

Dasho Dorji Namgay
Dasho Dorji Namgay from Chhukha, Lamgo, Paro was first posted as Haa Dzongdag in 1984 and then served as Monggar Dzongdag from 1986 to 1988. Dasho was then transferred to Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag.

Dasho Tashi Tshering
Dasho Tashi Tshering from Langthel, Trongsa was Chimmi prior to his appointment as Monggar Dzongdag. He received Bura Maap from 3rd King while he was Chimmi and then appointed as Dzongdag. He served in Monggar dzongkhag from 1971 to 1986.
