The five-day Basic Photography Training, aimed at strengthening visual storytelling for tourism promotion, successfully concluded today. The training brought together participants from various sectors, all united by a shared goalโto showcase the beauty and uniqueness of Mongar Dzongkhag through compelling, high-quality visuals.
The primary objective of the training was to enhance the capacity of participants to effectively market Mongar Dzongkhag and contribute to boosting the tourism sector. Throughout the program, participants gained hands-on experience in using different camera modes, with a strong emphasis on mastering manual settings to achieve creative control over their images.
In addition to camera techniques, the training also focused on post-production and image processing, including the use of mobile applications for editing. A significant portion of the training was dedicated to practical sessions, allowing participants to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. Assignments were given to further strengthen their skills and encourage creativity.
The Training was given by highly skilled personnel from Learn Zone Institute based at Thimphu.
