The Dzongkhag Education Conference commenced today with the participation of principals and vice principals from schools across the dzongkhag. The conference will deliberate on key educational priorities, including the setting of Annual Mean Marks (AMM) targets for Board Examinations, strengthening academic excellence, and advancing wholesome education that nurtures the intellectual, emotional, and social development of students.

The discussions will also explore the adoption of a future-ready, Cambridge-aligned curriculum framework to better prepare students for evolving global learning and career pathways.

In addition, the conference will focus on enhancing student leadership and fostering supportive school environments that promote responsibility, collaboration, and active participation among learners. The deliberations are expected to lead to practical strategies and collective commitments to further strengthen the quality of education in the Dzongkhag.
