The handing-over of 28 public health centers and three 10-bed hospitals was officially done at the Miniconference Hall, Mongar Dzongkhag, between the Dzongkhag Administration and the Mongar Eastern Regional Hospital. These hospitals and PHCs were previously under the NMS for about two years, and from now on, they will function under the Dzongkhag Public Health Sector. A total of around 155 staff will now be administered by the Dzongkhag Human Resource Section.
The event was graced by Dasho Dzongdag and Dasho Dzongrab and attended by the Administrative Officer from MRRH, the Dzongkhag Public Health Officer, the Finance Officer, officials from Procurement, Accounts, and Human Resource of both MRRH and the Dzongkhag.
