The ๐ฟ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ ๐๐๐-๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ค๐ (๐๐ฉ๐ง๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ข๐๐ฃ) ๐ฟ๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ช๐ง Selection for Mongar was held on 15 November 2025 at the Mongar Middle Secondary School football ground. The event was graced by Dasho Dzongrab and attracted a large crowd of enthusiastic spectators.
A total of ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป (๐ญ๐ฏ) ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ from the Gewogs of ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐๐ธ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ, ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐, ๐ ๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฎ๐ฟ, ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ง๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด competed in the event. ๐๐ง. ๐พ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐๐ฎ ๐ฟ๐ค๐ง๐๐, 31, ๐๐ง๐ค๐ข ๐พ๐๐๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ง ๐๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ emerged as the champion, completing the challenge in ๐ฏ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ณ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐. The second position was secured by ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฝ๐ผ, ๐ฎ๐ด, ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ด with a time of ๐ฏ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฑ๐ฏ ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐, while the third position went to ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐ฝ๐ผ, ๐ฎ๐ต, ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ผ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ผ๐ด, who finished in ๐ฐ ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐.
As the Nyagoe of Mongar, ๐ ๐ฟ. ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ท๐ถ will go on to represent the Dzongkhag in the ๐๐ฟ๐๐ธ-๐๐ถ-๐ก๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ผ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ต๐๐ฟ competition during the upcoming National Day celebrations.
Cash prizes of ๐๐ฎ. ๐๐,๐๐๐, ๐๐ฎ. ๐๐,๐๐๐, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ. ๐๐,๐๐๐ were awarded to the first, second, and third-place winners respectively.
The event was organized by the Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) in collaboration with the Mongar Dzongkhag Administration.
