𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨 𝐌𝐏𝐬

𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐇𝐨𝐧’𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐨 𝐌𝐏𝐬

Hon’ble Dasho MPs of Kengkhar-Weringla and Drametse-Ngatshang constituency convened an exit meeting with the Regional and Sector Heads of Mongar Dzongkhag on 2 October 2026, following their constituency visits.

The meeting was welcomed by Dasho Dzongdag, who briefed the Hon’ble MPs on the Annual Dzongkhag Plan and activities for the fiscal year 2026–2027, and also highlighted on the signing of Annual Performance Agreement with the sector heads.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱

The following key issues were highlighted during the discussion:

1. Drainage alignment along farm roads.

2. Shortage of children enrolled in Extended Classrooms (ECRs).

3. Shortages of Livestock and Agriculture extension officer

4. Persistent network connectivity issues.

5. Cardamom crops affected by diseases.

6. Shortages of teachers and supporting staff at schools.

7. Chain-link fencing: Assessing its overall benefits versus the impacts on farmers excluded from the coverage areas.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

The exit meeting provided an essential platform for the Hon’ble Dasho MPs, Dzongkhag Administration, and Regional and Sector Heads to address issues identified during the constituency visits. Resolving these concerns will require continued coordination among the relevant agencies and sectors.
