As nations unite to celebrate the 117th National Day, people from every corner of Monggar Dzongkhag also gathered at the Monggar Public Ground to mark the occasion.

The Dzongkhag Administration, Mongar, organized a two-day Mass Cleaning Campaign on the 14th and 15th of December, 2024, as part of the buildup program to celebrate the 117th National Day.

On the 15th of December, 2024, the Monggar Dzongkhag Administration in collaboration with Monggar Sports Association conducted Open Khuru Competition among the Gewogs and chiwogs of Monggar Dzongkhag as a build-up program to celebrate 117th National Day.

A basketball tournament was conducted as part of the buildup program to celebrate the momentous occasion of the 117th National Day of Bhutan.

As a part of the build-up program dedicated to the celebration of the 117th National Day, the Dzongkhag Administration, Mongar organized the Royal Civil Service Award Ceremony for the year 2024 at the Dratshang Kuenra today.

To celebrate the 117th National Day, as a build up program, the Dzongkhag administration along with the education sector and Monggar Sports Association conducted an Open "Marathon" competition among the public of Monggar Dzongkhag.

Officials from the Land Commission of Bhutan, Thimphu, conducted a consultation meeting on Land Administration and Management in the presence of Dasho Dzongdag.

The Mongar Dzongkhag Administration observed the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with a program coordinated by the Dzongkhag’s CBSS Focal Person.

The Dudjom Tercham, the treasuere dances of Chabje Dudjom Rinpoche, is performed at Kadam Ngayab Yoesel Choeling Gonpa in Mongar during the ninth month of the Bhutanese calendar, from the 20th to the 22nd day,

The sacred relics (Ringsel) of Sangay Shakya Thupa was received and displayed for the public at the Mongar Dratshang with a traditional Chipdrel and Marchang led by Lam Neten.
