As the Ridaza area is prone to landslides and had experienced one last year, preventive measures were undertaken to mitigate further damage from the upcoming monsoon rains.
The area was cleared, and blockages were removed to ensure the smooth flow of the stream. This initiative was led by Dasho Dzongdag and was participated in by Dasho Drangpoen, regional and sector representatives, as well as supporting staff from the Dzongkhag Administration, Court, and the Forest Range Office.
The event also included the beautification of the park near the welcome gate of Mongar Dzongkhag and it was a part of World Environment Day.
