The erstwhile Municipal unit is now upgraded as Human Settlement Sector.The Sector shall be headed by Offtg Chief Development Regulatory Officer.The Sector will look after all Settlement planning , management of town assets, approval of constructions, reporting and compliance in towns as well as in 17 gewogs. It will also look after services delivery such as water supply and sanitation in town and other places.However, if in-depth technical knowledge and engineers required shall be informed to DZongkhag Engineering Sector.The new Sector shall be lead by Mr.Ram Bahadur Darjee, Dy.EE along with architect , Planner, BI , Surveyor and other approved tech strength by RCSE.
