The Monggar Dzongkhag Administration organized ‘Mass Cleaning Campaign’ on 14th Dec. 2023 as part of the 116th National Day Celebration. Civil servants, desuups, dratshang, RBP, business community and public (appxo. 300) joined the cleaning campaign, which covered areas from changshingpek to Ridaza. A total of 2 DCM trucks and 8 bolero loads of waste were collected and sent to the konbar landfill. Along with the cleaning activity, the general public and the participants were sensitized on the theme,’My Waste My Responsibility’ and vision of Zero Waste by 2030.
