On May 5, 2025, the Honorable Health Minister visited the Mongar Dzongkhag Administration to assess progress and review plans for the 2024–2025 financial year. The event began with the traditional Marchang Ceremony, which symbolized the formal opening of the proceedings.
During the session, the Dzongkhag Planning Officer delivered a detailed presentation highlighting the overall achievements of both the Dzongkhag and the Gewogs. The presentation also included updates on the implementation status of Small Development Projects (SDP) Phases I and II, as well as discussions on key challenges and issues faced. The Policy and Planning Division, Ministry of Health, presented on Annual Health Surveillance.
The Dzongkhag Administration would like to express a sincere appreciation to the Honorable Health Minister for visiting and engaging with the Dzongkhag administration. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to highlight key accomplishments, seek guidance on important issues, and strengthen collaboration between the central and local governments.
