Today, on September 13, 2024, the Hon'ble National Council Chairperson, His Excellency Dasho Sangay Dorji, visited Mongar Dzongkhag. In the morning, His Excellency met with the teachers and the students of Mongar Higher Secondary School. In the afternoon, HE granted an audience to Dzongkhag sector heads, regional heads, and the principals of the nearby schools in the presence of Dasho Dzongdag, Dasho Drangpoen, Dasho SP, Dasho Dzongrab, and DT Thrizin.
During the meeting, Dasho thanked the public servants for their dedicated service and contribution to nation-building. The Hon'ble Chairperson also highlighted several significant Royal initiatives, including the Gelephu Mindfulness City Project, Desuung, and the Gyalsung Program, and the need to render our support and prayers. HE also engaged in an interactive session with the attendees, listening to their concerns and queries and sharing words of wisdom and recommendations.
HE is currently on an official tour to the central and eastern Dzongkhags.
