The 7th Mongar Dzongkhag Tshogdu session commenced today chaired by the Dzongkhag Tshogdu Thrizin. It was attended by Dasho Dzongdag, Members of Parliament (Dramedtse-Ngatshang and Kengkhar-Weringla) Dasho Drangpoen, Dasho Dzongrab, Dasho Drungpa of Weringla Drungkhag, Dasho OC, local government leaders, Representative from Dratshang, GAOs, regional and sector heads, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
The session started with the Zhugdrel Phuensum Tshogpa, followed by review of 6th DT resolution, discussions on the budget allocation and the annual plan for the 2025–2026 financial year. Gewog representatives also presented their annual activities and budget plans to the assembly.
