Following the directive of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Thimphu, the Dzongkhag Administration and Gewog Administration formally handed over the GC Road to the Department of Surface Transport, Regional Offices, Lingmethang, Tashigang, and Samdrup Jongkhar. The Handing Taking Over ceremony was carried out in the presence of Dasho Dzongdag on 28/6/2024.
