The Mongar Dzongkhag Administration formally welcomed Mr. Thinley Tenzin upon his appointment as the Chief Dzongkhag Livestock Officer, following his transfer from Chhukha Dzongkhag, where he served as the Deputy Chief Livestock Production Officer. With over 25 years of professional experience in the livestock sector, he is expected to play a key role in strengthening livestock value chains, enhancing post-production activities, and promoting market linkages in line with the Dzongkhag’s development plans, thereby contributing to the achievement of national goals outlined in the 13th Five Year Plan (FYP).

His extensive experience is also anticipated to add significant value to the Dzongkhag’s expanding community-based initiatives, supporting rural livelihoods and fostering local economic growth.

In welcoming him, Dasho Dzongdag underscored the importance of his role in advancing the E2B10X roadmap to transform Bhutan’s Civil Service, through close collaboration with other sectors and relevant agencies, to further strengthen Mongar’s economy.
