The Good Governance Committee (GGC) of the National Council met with representatives from Mongar Dzongkhag as part of its ongoing evaluation of the Anti-Corruption Commissionโs Annual Report 2024โ2025. The meeting focused on key issues such as Bhutanโs rating on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), corruption cases and referrals, proactive intelligence initiatives, and existing challenges in addressing corruption.

The session aimed to deepen participantsโ understanding of the reportโs findings and recommendations. It also encouraged open discussion on local challenges and experiences related to good governance. Participants were invited to share their views on strengthening transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in public service.
