The five-day 11th Monlam Chenmo (Great Aspiration Prayer) concluded at the Mongar Public Ground with the Trashi Monlam, marking the culmination of the annual spiritual gathering.

The prayer ceremony witnessed the participation of over a thousand devotees from across the Dzongkhag and neighboring areas, who gathered to receive blessings and offer prayers. Presided over by the Ven. Lam Neten and the monastic community of Mongar Dratshang, the Monlam Chenmo was conducted in an atmosphere of deep devotion, harmony, and collective aspiration.

This yearโ€™s Monlam Chenmo was dedicated to the wellbeing of all sentient beings, with special prayers offered for the peace, prosperity, and wellbeing of the nation. Throughout the five days, monks and devotees engaged in continuous prayers, rituals, and spiritual discourses aimed at fostering compassion, wisdom, and unity.

The successful conclusion of the 11th Monlam Chenmo once again reaffirmed strong spiritual tradition and the enduring faith of the community, bringing together people from all walks of life in shared prayers for universal harmony and collective wellbeing.
